Privacy Policy

DSAMotivator, operated by Vishal Kumar, is the data controller. For any privacy question or request, email support@dsamotivator.com.

Account details. Your email address, and a display name if you provide one. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never hold a password for you.

Your preferences. Timezone, your stated goal, the daily problem target you set, your reminder time, notification settings, and theme.

Practice activity. The username of the practice account you connect, plus the public statistics we read from it: which problems you solved, their difficulty, and when they were accepted. From this we derive your streak, experience points, and pattern progress.

Billing records. Your subscription status, plan, and billing period. Card, UPI, and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.

Product analytics. Anonymised usage events such as sign-ups and feature interactions, used to understand where the product confuses people.

To operate the service you signed up for: computing streaks, awarding experience points, filling in your pattern map, sending the reminders you asked for, and managing your subscription. We also use aggregate usage data to improve the product.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of processors, each handling only what their function requires:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — application hosting
• Razorpay — payment processing (subject to its own privacy policy)
• Resend — transactional and reminder email
• PostHog — product analytics

We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We do not otherwise share your data with third parties.

When you connect a practice account, we read only what that platform makes publicly available for that profile. We do not receive your credentials there and cannot act on your behalf. Disconnecting the account stops all further reads.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain — payment and tax records, which we keep for the statutory period.

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent for reminder emails at any time from Settings. Email support@dsamotivator.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with our hosting providers under their security controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is less to lose.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to measure product usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The service is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy materially we will notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and update the date above.
